On Thursday, the fast-food franchise did not disappoint as they left many South Africans in stitches.
The situation was sparked by Twitter user @PapiMushavhi12 who seemingly mocked the restaurant for their floury Portuguese rolls. His caption read:
"Today I ordered two rolls @NandosSA look Eyes wat I got Crying face I want my money back ngeke."
In response, the Nando's social media team did not miss a beat:
"Akere all the make up store were closed? A boer maak 'n plan."
