Last week, a woman, LéRātø ĹeeÁímé Ĺ'amour Mashaba, took to the #ImStaying Facebook page to gush about her amazing mother.

The inspiring single parent sold magwinya (vetkoek) to feed her family and Mashaba was even teased by it.
However, Mashaba revealed she was never ashamed of her mom or her hustle because it took care of her and her siblings.
The post read:
"Meet my mother, the strongest mom ever. She was selling fatcakes (magwinya) for more than 20 years. A woman who used to wake up at 2am to prepare, and go sell magwinya le dikuku so that we can go to bed rejele, buy us clothes. She was selling magwinya ko Pretoria town corner Pretorius and Hamilton, not far le Arcadia McDonald's.
"Nakweo she's a single parent to seven kids, three boys and four girls. People used to call her "Mamagwinya", that was fine with me because that magwinya made me the woman that am today. Imagine waking up 2am not knowing if people will buy or otlo kgama ke stoko but she had hope. I'm a proud daughter of "Mamagwinya" and I'll forever be grateful for what mom has done for us. I appreciate my mom so much."
