Meanwhile, a woman won South Africans over with the gifts she bought for her partner on his birthday.

Instead of getting her man something many might consider 'normal', Noxolo Neezy Mathebe gave her man four brand-new tyres and a bottle of booze.

Taking to social media, she wished her man a happy birthday and shared pics of the gifts.

Her post read:

"Happy birthday to the loml (love of my life), may the Lord grant you a long, happy, healthy and wealthy life so you can continue being the amazing human that you have been in my life."

She added:

"Bathi posting abo "an angel was born today" is being dramatic but how can I not be dramatic when the Lord has blessed me with an angel. Thank you for choosing to spend your day with me. I love you baba."

A screenshot of her post and photos of the birthday gift she got her bae were posted on Twitter by Katlego Maseng. The social media user captioned the post:

"Ladies, take notes. We don't ask for much."
