Masters of peri-peri chicken, Nando's, are quickly gaining a cult following on social media for their team's fantastic sense of humour.

Recently, Briefly.co.za reported that a Twitter user tried poking fun at the franchise by mocking their Portuguese rolls.

However, Nando's shared a feisty and hilarious response, which sent tweeps into overdrive.

This time, Nando's came across a TikTok video that recently went viral. Briefly.co.za noted that the video has been viewed more than 200 000 times.

It features a couple who partake in a challenge which involves dipping each other's faces into loads of flour.

Spotting the chance to refer to their legendary Portuguese rolls again, the fast-food joint shared a comical response to the tweet:

"We have rolls that need that flour mara bo #LoveLivesHere is playing games with our ingredients."

More than 17 000 people have already liked the tweet and could not contain their laughter.
