Twitter user Bonginkosi Linda Nkosi (@lindz_malindz) has a passion for all things culinary and even boasts a YouTube channel for his recipes.

On Wednesday, the young man showcased his latest creation - a pasta dish featuring black spaghetti.

His excitement for the culinary delight was clear for all to see, but Briefly.co.za gathered that not all tweeps were feeling it.

After unveiling his unique dish the tweet received a strong reaction, but it may not have been what Nkosi had been hoping for.

Many were taken aback by the strange colour and shared some hilarious comments.

To his credit, Nkosi took it on the chin and saw the funny side as well.

Mfiso_M (@MfisoM) said:

"This is actually good for Halloween-themed dishes, they actually dye it with squid ink to make it black."

Tinyiko phili pholo (@DlaminiPheladi) added,

"Looks like little snakes."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that a social media user, who was identified by his Twitter handle @Dj_Techzi, showed off a unique looking dish.

@Dj_Techzi posted snaps of dinner on Monday and social media users were quick to notice the pap was blue.
