Screening for Covid-19 is an important factor in the fight against the novel coronavirus. Many places, including stores and workplaces, use forehead infrared thermometers to check people's body temperature.
However, not all the brands of these devices are accurate and the EFF leader proved it with a video.
Julius Malema posted a disturbing video on social media showing an inaccurate thermometer. In the clip, a man is seen disassembling a forehead thermometer, taking out the chip and part of the scanner.
Despite missing crucial parts, the thermometer still picked up body temperature. Juju captioned the clip: "He banna."
