Palesa Madisakwane took to Instagram to drop a few pearls of wisdom on those who want to enter the entertainment space.
The actress, who is Somizi Mhlongo's baby mama, said it's important to keep a level head and not get caught up in office gossip.
Not only are both Palesa and Somizi in showbiz, but their daughter Bahumi Mhlongo has also entered the fray as an actress.

Bahumi’s mother took to her Instagram account to write in part, about the competitive nature of the industry and the importance of having a student mentality.
She said, “It is a very competitive and contested space and not for the faint-hearted. But what will take you far is being humble and having a teachable spirit. Be careful the people you keep in the office space, be careful whom you listen to and do your all to keep away from office gossip. Office gossip will destroy your career your character and will distract you from what you still want to achieve in life and your career.”
She further explained, “It is an industry full of jealousy and suckers. It’s a very small industry and word travels faster than (a) speed boat, so anywhere you want to work at you will be judged by your character and behaviour first and reference ... this is motherly and sisterly advice... stay away from office gossip.”
Palesa's daughter, Bahumi, made her parents proud when she played a younger Lebo Mathosa on an MTV Base docu-series last year.
Briefly.co.za reported that fans were so impressed, they called for Bahumi to play the older Lebo as well.
