DJ Shimza to host #OneManShow to raise money for Solidarity Fund SA

- DJ Shimza has announced that he will host a #OneManShow during lockdown

- The proceeds will go to good causes such as the Solidarity Fund SA and the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Each One Feed One fund initiative.

- He plans on streaming his set from the Union Building on Friday the 16th of June

DJ Shimza wants to help South Africa during these challenging times. He is planning on hosting his own #OneManShow during the lockdown on 16 June.

Briefly.co.za learned that he made the announcement on Twitter that he will host the show from the Union Building and it will be aired on MTV Base Africa.

He will donate all the proceeds for the Solidarity Fund SA as well as the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the Each One Feed One fund initiative according to ZAlebs.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that DJ Shimza has announced that Season 1 of the #LockdownHouseParty on Channel O is coming to an end.

The DJ also revealed the headline acts for part 1 and part 2 of the show's season finale.

Part 3 and 4 will air next week, according to him.

The virtual house party music show began shortly after Mzansi went into lockdown about two months ago.

Its aim was to keep peeps entertained on Friday and Saturday nights while they were self-isolating in their homes.

Shimza took to social media to share with the viewers of the show, the majority of whom are party goers, that he will be bringing back the "favourites" to headline the finale.
