Nando's have become synonymous with delicious flame-grilled chicken, but also a hilarious marketing and media team.

The fast food franchise regularly produce witty and comical adverts in line with current events taking place in Mzansi.

On Monday, they took aim at a woman who was striving to compete with the fast food giant.

Twitter user YourFemale_MC (@_vhutshilo) showcased a meal she was selling, which included a whole chicken with a portion of pap.

The Nando's team didn't miss and beat and responded by saying:

"Add extra sauces then maybe you'll be playing in the same kitchen but love your work sis."

Briefly.co.za noted that their response made many see the funny side, as the tweet went viral.

Although Nando's delivered the clap back, it was balanced with a sweet compliment to the budding entrepreneur.
