- Sha Sha, a Zimbabwean artist based in SA, has also been nominated for a BET Award
Sho Madjozi and Sha Sha are flying the Mzansi flag high after bagging BET Award nominations. The African queens will be representing the continent on an international platform. This is the second year of being nominated for Sho Madjozi.
The John Cena hitmaker is competing for Best International Act at the #BETAwards. She is nominated alongside the African Giant Burna Boy from Nigeria.
Charmaine Shamiso Mpambiro, aka Sha Sha, who is signed to DJ Maphorisa's label Blaqboy Records, is nominated for the Viewers' Choice Award. The Amapiano queen has made history by becoming the first Zimbabwean artist to score a nomination.
Both musos took to Twitter to celebrate their nominations and social media users excitedly congratulated them.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Sho Madjozi and Moonchild Sanelly were chosen to represent South Africa in Miami. The two jetted off to the US for Super Bowl LIV and did the most on the stage as part of a stellar line-up. They made their fans and country super proud.
