DJ Kenzhero is a veteran DJ in South Africa. He started deejaying in 1998 and has never stopped ever since. He is also involved in other activities such as music production, radio hosting, running restaurants, and clubs, among other ventures.

He was born in 1976 in Rockville, Soweto, South Africa. His partner is not known because he has managed to keep his private life out of the public.
Working as a DJ
Kenneth came from a musical background. It was, therefore, natural to pursue a career in that direction. He started his deejaying journey with Organix, an events company in 1998, in Johannesburg. He was working alongside Simphiwe Dana, Tumi and The Volume, Blk Sonshine, and Lebo Mashile.
In 2001, DJ Kenzhero relocated to Cape Town. While here, he became a resident DJ in popular lounge bars and clubs. He was also the DJ for Cape Town bands, including The Goema Captains of Cape Town, Freshlyground, and Max Normal.
In 2004, he moved back to Gauteng. He has been a co-host, co-producer, and DJ on Tuks FM, mutherfm.com, YFM, DJ Kenzhero Kaya FM, among others. He is the host of a weekly radio show called Party People Radio on Campus radio.
The famous DJ released a compilation album, DJ Kenzhero Presents Party People Vol.1. He works across a number of music genres, including soul, hip-hop, jazz, and funk. He has a mixtape, The Break Even, which has records he produced including Break Even, Emancipation, About It, among other tracks. What else does the DJ do?
The veteran DJ runs the Obrigado brand together with Tebo Moalusi, Tha_Muzik, and MNM Marketing. DJ Kenzhero Obrigado deals with travelling, culture, and lifestyle. The brand is based on fashion, food, art, food, and music in Latin America and Africa, specifically in Brazil and South America.
There is also a DJ Kenzhero restaurant, Untitled on Reserve Street. He opened the eatery and bar in Braamfontein together with Bradley Williams, who is popularly known as DJ Biopic. He also has an exhibition space, The Artivist, in Johannesburg. He opened the space with Bradley William in 2018.
