The world is currently facing tough times as it seems one bad thing keeps happening after the other. In many parts of America, black people have taken to the streets to protest against police brutality especially directed at black people.

Just when the world had not yet recovered from the deaths of George Floyd, Breona Taylor, Ahmed Aubery, etc, another young black man lost his life to a white police officer.

27-year-old Rayshard Brooks was killed on 12 June, 2020, by an Atlanta police officer and this has sparked fresh outrage on social media.

American actor, comedian and producer, Tyler Perry, has now offered to Rayshard’s funeral cost and also to pay for the college education of his four children, according to reports from People.

Speaking about the killing, a lawyer representing Brook’s family, L. Chris Stewart, said that he felt the police brutalities were going to end.

He said: “I’ve been doing this for 15 years, I don’t know what justice is anymore. Is it getting them arrested? Is it getting somebody fired? Is it a chief stepping down? I know that this isn’t justice, what’s happening in society right now,” he continued. “We’re just tired. And if you don’t understand that because you may be a different color, you may be a different gender, you may not be from Georgia, then you may be the problem.”

This is so sad. RIP to the dead.
