Linda Mtoba got real about the societal pressures of motherhood and expectations to snap back to your pre-preggy body like it's nothing.
Becoming a mother is the greatest gift but it also comes with many challenges.
Briefly.co.za knows Linda gave birth to her precious little princess back in October 2019 and has been in the baby bubble ever since.
During an interview with Bona magazine, Linda explained the pressure she felt to snap back after giving birth.
“I felt that something was wrong with me. I could not understand why my body was not going back to normal ... I really had to work hard at accepting myself. It's not just a physical thing but an emotional one too.”
Linda was open about her stretchmarks, cellulite and jiggly bits – post-preggy body is not for the faint-hearted. There is nothing she can do about it and she’s proud of her battle wounds because they gave her her baby girl.
Planning on having more kids, Linda is in no rush to do anything major until she’s done having babies.
“I'm only going to do a boob job after I've had all my kids. In fact, I'm going to do a mommy makeover.”
Linda and her hubby Steven Meyer are proud to be parents and could not be worried about all the nonsense society expects of them.
