- Nqobile Ndlovu is said to be leaving Imbewu: The Seed as they didn't want to pay her what she wanted
- Apparently Nqobile refused to sign her new contract unless they agreed to pay her more, and they clearly didn't
- Koobeshen Naidoo is said to also be calling it a day alongside Nqobile
Nqobile Ndlovu has allegedly left e.tv’s widely-loved drama series Imbewu: The Seed.
There have been many cuts, swaps and changes going on in the Mzansi small-screen world lately and fans are not pleased.
Briefly.co.za learnt that there have been rumours stating Nqobile has left due to money issues, according to Sunday World.
This news followed shortly after the news that Fundiswa Zwane was also leaving the show.
Nqobile plays the role of Nokukhanya Bhengu, a character that will surely be missed.
It has been said that Nqobile refused to sign a new contract until they agreed to give her what she felt she deserved and wanted, and they clearly did not – sis was not settling.
Imbewu: The Seed is losing a lot of its talented cast members which could end up having a devastating effect on the success of the show as a whole.
ZAlebs uncovered that Koobeshen Naidoo is allegedly leaving the show too. When they contacted e.tv’s managing director Marlon Davids for comment, the lack of denials aid it all.
“E.tv has a lot of talent on offer, and Nqobile and Koobeshen are certainly some of them.’’
