Master KG is one of the hardest-working musicians in Mzansi. The Limpopo-born music producer has kept Mzansi dancefloors slick with his unique sound for the past two festive seasons.
Even though Amapiano has dominated music charts in the past few months, Master KG's songs still enjoy a lot of airplay on TV and radio stations across Mzansi.
His music videos have also been doing very well on online video platforms such as YouTube.
Master's hit track Jerusalema has gathered 25 million views, Skeleton Moves has 21 million views, Waya Waya has 6.5 million views and Dia Boya Limpopo has been viewed 6.3 million times on YouTube.
He also produced DJ Tira's banger, Thank You Mr DJ.
In celebration of the star's accomplishments, Mzansi is showing the young muso love on Twitter with the currently trending hashtag #CongratulationsMasterKG.
"The way the GOAT @MasterKGsa has been consistent he deserves endless love for making major moves and taking South African and Limpopo music to greater heights. Show him some love."
"Thina we know why we are celebrating Master KG. The man is a blessing to South African entertainment industry and the world at large."
There were of course those tweeps who participated in the hashtag even though they had no idea why the DJ was being congratulated.
"I don't know why but congratulations Master KG! I will clap for everyone till my time comes."
"Does anyone know yet, why we congratulating him? Or should we just continue congratulating him?"
"#CongratulationsMasterKG. I'm confused."
"What’s happening, did he win Song of the Lockdown?"
Briefly.co.za reported that Master KG thanked his fans for their support when Jerusalema reached 14 million views on YouTube a few weeks ago.
His fans praised the DJ for producing good music and said the song was also big in other countries.
