ProVerb has taken to social media to share the premiere date for the Dankie San: The Kasi Rap Bible documentary in tribute to late rapper ProKid.

The Idols SA presenter and producer has posted that the documentary will premiere on SABC 1 on Thursday.

He tweeted:

"Dankie San #TheKasiRapBible is finally here and we are ready to share this body of work with the people."

The documentary will feature some of the music industry people who were inspired by the Sekele hitmaker and those that have worked with the star.

Some of the musos that will participate in the doccie include AKA, Dome, Omen, Kwesta and Slikour.

The show provides a backstage glimpse to the making of the Dankie San album. It will premiere at 9pm.

When one tweep, @mampudisupreme, alleged that ProVerb failed to help Pro when he was down and out, Proverb replied:

"I'm not doing anything with his name. Enzo and the Slaghuis team are doing this project and I'm just helping share."
