South Africa has an abundance of wildlife and certain parts of the country host many different species of snakes.
The dilemma is that the majority of South Africans are fearful of the slithering reptiles and want nothing to do with them.
It therefore came as no surprise when an innovative new duvet design was strongly condemned by social media users.
Twitter user Christo (@ChristoThurston) shared images of the bizarre designs, which featured a snake theme.
The controversial photos can be viewed below.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the creepy creations were too realistic for most South Africans based on the negative sentiment. However, some hilarious comments were shared.
Firmino_Maega (@MaegaFirmino) said,
""Fighting Two Demons In Bed."
Zandile (@zandile97688656) claimed,
"It's for those who attend satanic church."
Khumbelo Tshiololi (@khumbelotZA) said,
"The nightmares on those beds."
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that a snake catcher struggled to nab a large Black Mamba from a work premises.
To his surprise, one of the workers jumped in to help by holding onto the large reptile.
Footage of the capture was shared via social media and the worker was hailed as a hero.
