SA amazed by man speeding at 80km/h in cart: “Fastest trolley ever”

- A passing motorist captured the unusual moment and the trolley moved at approximately 80 kilometres per hour

- Video footage of the event was shared via social media and went viral

South African roads have been a little less busy ever since the lockdown was announced.

It seems one man was determined to make the most of the increased room on the road based on a recent video.

A motorist was stunned to see a man passing him by using an old shopping cart.

The bemused driver caught the incident on camera and shared it via Facebook.

Thabang Mahlangu shared the caption with the video:

"This made my morning 80 km/h another Schumacher."

Briefly.co.za gathered that the video had a substantial impact based on the reaction.

Andrew Claase said,

Nankulo Bhuti Wakwa Sokombela said,

"Loool damn, Did you see how He Drove past that Car!! Yhoo That must have been over 120km/ph."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that a video started trending via social media, which reveals how a man narrowly escaped harm.

He travelled downhill rapidly in a home-made cart. The footage had South Africans on the edge of their seats, as he was nearly struck by an oncoming car.
