Prince Harry and his former Suits actress wife, Meghan Markle, just can't seem to get a break. The couple, who stepped down as senior royals following extreme ridicule, wrote a letter to a charity that works in a disadvantaged area, YOU reported.

The charity then shared the letter on Twitter and thanked the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their support during these difficult times.

The letter was captioned:

"Wow! Thank you so much Harry and Meghan for your kind words and your continued support for StreetGames and the brilliant local organisations working to support their communities in these challenging times."

While there were those who applauded the former senior royals for supporting the charity, others spotted Harry and Meghan used their joint H&M monogram with the crown logo.

Tweeps were not happy with the couple using the royal symbol even though they stepped down from the position.

Twitter user, @smartmonkeee, commented:

"How nice of them to send this out using the symbol they have left behind. Must have leftover stationary."

Another tweep, @ejungward, wrote:

"Both of you left because you did not want to have the duties as the royals. You both left and now you want to use the crown for your benefit. You should be ashamed. Harry, I know you love your wife, but have some respect for your family, the royals."

However, despite the backlash, Harry and Meghan are reportedly allowed to use the crown logo. British royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that because Harry is the son of an heir, he is allowed to use to crown symbol.

Princess Eugenie and her sister, Princess Beatrice, are amongst the other non-working royals who use the crowns for their monograms.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported Harry and Meghan's son, Archie, has said his first words.

Prince Harry and Meghan have celebrated more than their son's first birthday, they are delighted that he has spoken his first words, which include "mama", "dada", "book" and "dog”.

A source close to the family has revealed young Archie's development.

“He loves playing hide-and-seek and using building blocks,” the source added.
