South Africans stay true to what works for them, from celebs shopping at PEP to Nyovest hiding a whole baby momma from Mzansi. Briefly.co.za explores the most hyped stories from the past week.
From Basetsana and Romeo selling their R25 million mansion to Kuli Roberts spending her hard-earned coin at PEP, Mzansi knows how to operate at all levels.
Take a look at the hottest stories to hit SA this week:
Basetsana and Romeo Kumalo have a luxury mansion in Midrand's prestigious Saddlebrook Estate.
The power couple is reportedly looking to sell the R25 million five-bedroom home which is surrounded by an exquisitely-landscaped garden.
The property boasts a second dwelling which is currently being used as offices and a gym, a chef's kitchen, which has been considered to be fitted with the best, and a soundproof cinema room, among other things.
Kuli Roberts has given a classy response to a troll who tried to come for her.
The media personality posted about shopping at a local budget-friendly shop when an SM user suggested that she was broke.
However, Kuli remained unbothered and clapped back by saying that she has been shopping at Pep for 30 years now. Many social media users supported Kuli and defended her.
3. Getting to know Cassper Nyovest’s hot baby momma Thobeka Majozi
Cassper Nyovest shocked many with the news that he is going to be a dad, and now peeps want to know more about his baby momma Thobeka Majozi.
This is definitely one of the best and most well-kept secrets in Mzansi celeb history.
Briefly.co.za had reported on Cassper and Thobeka in the past but, like everyone else, thought their relationship had fizzled out. Choosing to keep their relationship private has definitely served in Cassper and Thoneka’s favour.
ZAlebs did some digging on Thobeka and found out that the stunning model and socialite is also a university graduate.
Thobeka was born on 12 October 1992, in Mahikeng – Cassper’s hometown. She has a degree from Durban University of Technology which she completed in 2016. Her and Cassper started seeing one another back in 2018 and rumour has it that Cassper even started the labola process, but no one knows exactly what happened there.
Somizi Mhlongo showed us all how to put a troll in his place when a fan tried to come for him on Father's Day.
The fan had asked, "How does Somizi celebrate Father's Day?"
Somizi responded, "I wake up. Go outside. Decide which car to drive. Then decide which house I want to sleep at between Free State, KZN, Dainfern, Fourways, Soweto, Parys. Then call my daughter to come get my bank card to spoil herself. Wena (You)?"
Ishu, Somgaga, you ain't have to do him like that.
