In April, a beautiful young lady took to Twitter to detail how her mother was stressed about the coronavirus reaching SA's shores.

The woman, @NwabisOmiya, wrote on Twitter that her mother worked as a cleaner at a private hospital and the people who tested positive for Covid-19 were in her ward.

@NwabisOmiya added that her mom was stressed about the situation and decided to plan her own funeral should anything happen.

On 16 April, @NwabisOmiya wrote:

However, barely two months later, @NwabisOmiya had to share devastating news with her followers.

She revealed her mom had passed away, but @NwabisOmiya did not detail the conditions surrounding her death.

She wrote:

"When I received that call from 041 I knew it was time to put my big girl panties on. Having to call my family yesterday to inform them of the news the hospital had just told me was so hard, hay usi qhathile ntombi. RIP MaMiy."

She added in another tweet:

"Kodwa ke kuyo yonke lonto, andimsoli uThixo. Andilili njengomntu ongenathemba. Mama bezobuza, 'Bekufuneka ibengu Mama kabani Mntanam kuze ilunge'? uThixo uzosithwala. (But through it all I’m not angry at God. I’m not crying like someone with no hope. Mom would ask me: 'Whose mother should have passed away for you to feel better?' God will carry us.)"

The post broke thousands of hearts and Mzansi tweeps sent their condolences to @NwabisOmiya and her family.
