Kaizer Chiefs back in training, Mbalula reacts: “Here for Katsande”

The Premier Soccer League came to a screeching halt following the outbreak of the coronavirus in South Africa and the nationwide lockdown.

However, as the nation enjoys relaxed lockdown levels, the PSL teams have been given the green light to initiate preparations for the resumption of the season.

Kaizer Chiefs took to Twitter to share a video showing how their players engaged in a training session on Monday.

Their session caught the eye of Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula, but he was clearly only tracking one specific player:

"Am only here for Katsande."

Briefly.co.za gathered that many tweeps enjoyed Mbaks' comment and drew comparisons between the two men.

Thato Matuka (@thatomatuka) said,

"Minister, the GQ man."

Mr Makofane (@Thaso_luv) added,

"Boss ya mboka straight from a photo shoot."

Mbaks is known for his stylish garments and often being on trend.

The Zambian is known for being a fashionista and was strutting his stuff in some formal attire.

Social media users lauded Katsande, but some saw the funny side.
