Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has achieved legendary status at Naturena and it would almost seem unthinkable for him to leave.
That didn't stop fans from talking on Wednesday, as the #KhuneSignsForPirates started to trend via Twitter.
Briefly.co.za reported that fans were immediately worried that the famous goalkeeper had decided to leave the Amakhosi side to join their rivals, Orlando Pirates.
However, it appears Chiefs fans have nothing to worry about since no official news of a career move to the Bucs was announced by either team.
That didn't stop Khune from pledging his allegiance to the Black and Gold on Wednesday in a timely Twitter post.
The post can be viewed below.
In essence, Khune stated that he'll be loyal to the Amakhosi for life. Briefly.co.za noted some of the reactions from the fans.

Dudu zwane (@Duduzwane11) added,
