Actor Atandwa Kani has always placed himself on a pedestal, giving himself all kinds of self-proclaimed titles. Being an actor and coming from a line of entertainment legends, confidence is definitely key.

Briefly.co.za knows what a fun and loving guy Atandwa is, never a dull moment with him hanging around. The hunky Black Panther star had a virtual interview Mzansi comedian Tats Nkonzo where they discussed his ‘Prince of Theatre’ title.

The 'Prince of Theatre' is a title that Atandwa gave himself and he thinks it's funny that everyone just went along with it.

“Am I still the Prince of Theatre? I have always been and I will always be the Prince of Theatre in all of your minds.”

Being the overly-confident guy that he is, and rightfully so, Atandwa decided to give himself a new title.

“Listen, I am the sex symbol of screen.”

While some may be intimidated by Atandwa’s confidence, he is totally harmless. Tats has mad respect for his bra and believes his confidence is what leaves an imprint on everyone, be it positive or negative.

“Some saw him as arrogant. Some saw him as confident. But all saw him.”

In other news, South African actor Atandwa Kani took time out to share what it entails for him to live out his dream of acting in America.

Taking a positive approach to the lockdown and self-isolating due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Atandwa joined up with actor Thapelo Mokoena accessing Instagram LIVE on Artists Corner TV. His intention was to highlight his dream of acting in the United States.

Atandwa shared that it is his dream to be part of the theatre environment in New York.
