AKA tested positive for the coronavirus and has been accused of lying and posting his results for propaganda purposes.
There is a lot of speculation surrounding the coronavirus in terms of its origin, the actual impact it has and even if it is something new.
Briefly.co.za saw the commotion AKA’s positive coronavirus results caused. Social media blew up with many questioning if he even had the virus of not.
AKA is one of those celebrities who thrive off of drama and loves to be centre stage even if it is for all the wrong reasons. So, when it came out that he tested positive for the coronavirus, peeps didn’t know what to believe.
After seeing all the backlash, AKA took to social media to clear the air. He made it clear that he does actually have the virus and said that people need to stop being so naive.
“The problem is you think celebrities are immune to contagious diseases like COVID 19. You worship them too much.”
AKA then went on to say that he is glad he is able to remove the stigmas from this virus and reveal the truth about what it is like to have it. Supa Mega believes we all going to catch it at some point.
“I’m looking forward to de-stigmatizing this whole thing. It seems like people only sit up and pay attention when it happens to public figures or those close to them. Unfortunately at some point, we are ALL going to catch it.”
AKA urges everyone who experiences any of the symptoms to just go and get tested. Playing with fire is not something we need right now.
“As soon as you feel that cough coming on, that headache ... weakness in your muscles. Chills at night. Trust me. GO TEST ASAP. There’s places where they do the swab at the back of your throat, not that insane up your nose one. Do it so you can know what you dealing with.”
