The whole of SA, including its celebs, have had something to say about President Cyril Ramaphosa placing an immediate ban on alcohol.
Lockdown has had people feeling all the feels, especially when it comes to the leisure and luxury items like alcohol.
Breifly.co.za, like many, were anticipating another alcohol ban after all the cases that were linked to activities involving the consumption of alcohol.
When President Ramaphosa addressed the nation Sunday night and implemented an immediate ban on alcohol, literally the whole country became a flock of Karens.
People took to social media within seconds to air their views and find every reason under the sun that this was not the way to go about things, then there were those who totally supported our president's decision.
Some of our favourite Mzansi celebs also took to social media to share their views on the sudden ban. It is safe to say that our celebs were just as thrown by the immediate ban – our persident could at least have given the people a little notice.
DJ Zinhle showed her sarcasm by offering peeps some tea, while Sizwe Dhlomo straight up let Uncle Cyril know that he sees the Level 4 of this apparent level three that we are in. Shame, people are not happy!
Pamela Mtanga gave the people some advice. Ration whatever alcohol you have left, it is going to be a while until we see the light of alcohol on sale again.

Others were just utterly shook by the whole situation and couldn’t do anything besides laugh it off. Kante, people are not coping.

AKA is distraught that alcohol sales have, once again, been paused. The star took to social media to express his pain after President Cyril Ramaphosa's Sunday night speech.
The rapper tweeted a long "Noooooooooo". Clearly AKA doesn’t think alcohol had anything to do with him getting the rona.
