It seems local cops are loving Gomora just as much as other South Africans. Siphesihle Ndaba, who plays Mazet on the hit show, recently took to social media to share a funny experience. Cops who recently pulled her over seemed to forget that the show is not real and that Siphesihle is not a real criminal.
Ndaba plays the much-loved character Mazet on Gomora. The character is known to steal cars on the hit show. Siphesihle shared a hilarious experience of how cops recently pulled her over, suspecting that the car she was driving was stolen.
"Just got pulled over by traffic cops and it was honestly the funniest experience. I knew it was gonna go south when I rolled down the window and he said 'Hau Mazet'."
The cop asked her where she got the car and if she stole it. The hilarious conversation between the actress and the law enforcement officials amused Mzansi social media users. Twitter user robzinterris said:
"They have found you Mazet... Mam'Sonto will have to deal with you now."
"You should have hijacked that police vehicle. Was it R-Line?"
"Bet he thought you stole the car."
"Did you hijack it or what?? Maybe you forgot to leave the character of 'Mazet' at work."
"I’m sure they didn’t even ask for a driving licence."
