AKA recovers: Mzansi reacts to rapper's speedy healing from Covid-19

AKA rocked Mzansi when he announced that he has recovered from Covid-19 on Wednesday afternoon. The rapper had announced that he tested positive just last week.

Many Mzansi social media users were relieved to hear he was better but couldn't help but feel suspicious about the timing.

Briefly.co.za reported that the rapper AKA has taken to social media to share that he is coronavirus-free. The rapper posted a video online along with a timeline of his recovery journey.

He also finally acknowledged his bae and thanked her for helping him recover. The rapper took to Instagram to post a video of himself dancing and looking full of life.

Although Mzansi social media users were happy for him, they were not quite buying what he was selling. Facebook user Clarance Shai said:

"What did he consume for such a speed recovery, maybe he can assist."

To throw another spanner in the wood works, Briefly.co.za learnt that the star is cashing in on the experience. AKA's recovery journey will be televised in a show called Covid-19 diaries at 5pm on Newsish on MTV Base and during the 9:30pm break on BET starting on Wednesday, 15 July.

In other news, Enhle Mbali has revealed that she tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus. The actress took to social media to detail how she's been experiencing a tough time lately.

Her much-publicised separation from DJ Black Coffee has left the media personality open to scrutiny and criticism. Enhle took to Instagram to open up about her current hardships.

She shared that her health was ailing due to testing positive for Covid-19. She said that she had been very careful but the virus got to her anyway. The actress remained in good spirits though and said she would use this time to heal and grow. Social media users sent her messages of encouragement.
