Dating is never easy and it can be even more complicated if you have children - especially when the person you're seeing isn't mature about the situation.
One woman opened up about how she reacted upon meeting her boyfriend's daughter. Her post was originally shared in August last year, but a screenshot of it surfaced on Mzansi social media on Thursday.
Twitter user, @kulanicool, posted the snap on the social media platform and he asked South Africans' opinions.
In the post, the lady, who is identified as Britany Brook Harrel, detailed how she reacted when she met her boyfriend's daughter.
Not only did Harrel do her best to accommodate the girl, she decided to communicate with her bae's ex.
"My boyfriend got his daughter today and this is her first time being around me. I spoke with her mother on the phone and asked what she likes to eat and if she's allergic to anything. I also let her know that I have kids and that her daughter was safe."
Harrel added that she gave the woman her number. She said:
"When dating someone with kids the mother has every right to ask questions and the right to know who their child is around. I respect his kids' mothers and will be very respectful and open to them and their questions. This is what being an adult woman is all about."

The post gathered several thousand reactions and social media users had different views on Harrel's approach to dealing with her bae's baby mama.
Many applauded Harrel for being mature and some even shared their own stories.
However, there were guys who revealed the women they date will never have the same outlook as Harrel.
Twitter user, @Thabo_Tshisi, commented:
"My ex would never, that girl lives for drama."
Meanwhile, earlier Briefly.co.za reported Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa took to social media with an emotional post that had her and DJ Black Coffee trending on social media. Sis is not OK. Going through a divorce is not easy.
It is a time of loss that often makes one feel like they have failed, especially when there are children involved.
We saw the heart-wrenching post made by Enhle. Reading her words, one's heart cannot help but break for her.
Enhle has been going through the most. Taking to social media and letting it all out, Enhle explained how the past three years have broken her and that she has still not managed to recover from it fully.
