Previously, Briefly.co.za reported that Mamelodi Sundowns have officially confirmed the signing of George Maluleka.
Maluleka has signed a three-year contract after leaving Kaizer Chiefs on June, 30th.
The midfielder will only be registered at the end of the season, but will start training with his new teammates.
Maluleka had his first training session with his new teammates and opened up about his experience thus far.
Maluleka said, “The first day was good and great to be back on the field, a lot of physical training and I enjoyed myself."
The former Amakhosi ace already seems fond of his new teammates and had a lengthy discussion with coach Pitso Mosimane.
Maluleka added, “The guys have been good, I received a warm welcome, it was very good and I am happy."
The Sundowns mentor was full of praise for Maluleka's physical and mental attributes.
Mosimane said, “He is a good boy, a good player, intelligent, intrinsic also and I have spoken to him about tactics and I have put him through the process of how our number six and eight plays."
