Actress Mona Monyane has opened up about a series of disappointments in her love life, which have caused her to be wary of giving her all in the future. The star said she could teach a class on how to hold on to a relationship and try to make it work.
Mona said the end result was definitely not worth it and added that she wouldn't recommend being a ride-or-die to anyone. Mona recently separated from her husband, actor Khulu Skenjana. The pair had been through a lot, including losing a child and their home burning down.
Mona took to social media to break it all down.
She said, "I have been the relationship girl. I have only done serious relationshipping. Lovie, if you want to know to bekezela (hold on), come here. Just know one thing, it is never worth it."
Mona elaborated, "It is very possible for someone to lie to you about who they are in order to trap you into a relationship and then to slowly reveal their true colours over time. It is so important to listen to your gut (and) to believe red flags when you see them - people are evil out there."
Although Mona and her estranged husband, Khulu Skenjana, seemed happy for a while, their relationship came to a screeching halt earlier this year.
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Zodwa Wabantu has been slammed again after she was spotted shooting her shot at Gomora actor Ntobeko Sishi. The exotic dancer has been accused of preying on young boys.
Zodwa Wabantu was spotted in the comments section of the 21-year-old actor's recent post. She did not hold back and made her intentions very clear in her message.
The message was accompanied by winking and heart emojis. Mzansi social media users were, however, not smiling. Many accused the much older woman of preying on young men.
