Congratulations are in order for the multi-talented Lasizwe Dambuza. The reality television star and prolific YouTuber can now add movie star to his CV.
Lasizwe will be starring in a new Netflix SA movie, titled Seriously Single. The star said the movie will premiere on 31 July.
Lasizwe took to social media to announce the good news and bask in the glory of this wonderful accomplishment. The YouTuber, who is also Khanyi Mbau's younger brother, is certainly going from strength to strength in the cut-throat entertainment biz.
Lasiwe wrote, "Finally, I can announce to the world. Lasizwe is going to be on Netflix. I am a movie star. I'm in that movie, baba. 31 July, #SeriouslySingle."
Fans rushed to Lasizwe's mentions to congratulate him on the great accomplishment. They acknowledged that Lasizwe has worked extremely hard to be where his is today.
One said, "It was worth the wait! Congratulations, child. We are going to be the judge of your work on the side of the screens. Being in (a) movie is so much different from (doing) your comic posts (and) videos. I'm sure the experience was phenomenal, hey?! Once again, congrats, babe!"
Lasizwe appears to be doing great in his lovelife too. Last month, Briefly.co.za spotted a few racy pics that the star posted, possibly showing off his new bae.
Although Lasizwe didn't post the man's name, fans were able to deduce that it was a guy called Marcus.
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Zodwa Wabantu has been slammed again after she was spotted shooting her shot at Gomora actor Ntobeko Sishi. The exotic dancer has been accused of preying on young boys.
Zodwa Wabantu was spotted in the comments section of the 21-year-old actor's recent post. She did not hold back and made her intentions very clear in her message.
The message was accompanied by winking and heart emojis. Mzansi social media users were, however, not smiling. Many accused the much older woman of preying on young men.
