- 2020 Has been a rough year for the entire world, and it's probably been worse for Mzansi as we continue to go through lockdown
- Controversial rapper AKA appears to think things might have been better for us if Jacob Zuma was still in power
- AKA recently called tweeps "ungrateful b******s" and said he bets they miss JZ now
A fan recently came for AKA's neck after the rapper tweeted that he bets we all miss former president, Jacob Zuma, now. It's not clear what prompted AKA to tweet that, but it definitely wasn't well-received by some.
He said, "I'm sure y'all miss Jacob Zuma now, don't you? Ungrateful b******."
A tweep by the name of @van_peeblez was not having it.
He responded, "Says the b***** that was on a video call with a b*****. Says the b***** that had a braai with a bigger b*****. You b****** are cowards. You could have told those (two) b****** how you feel about their government. But, here you are."
The tweep was referring to AKA's video call with President Cyril Ramaphosa, as well as his braai interview with Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula.
Fikile and AKA had chatted over some braai meat prepared by Supa Mega and it appears AKA didn't broach the subject of bad governance with his buddy.
Other fans conceded that they missed AKA for his flamboyant and hilarious personality.
@robzinterris wrote, "Who doesn't miss Jacob Zuma? That guy was fun and hilarious. A character!"
Another noted that JZ memes are definitely still the best!
Last week, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA was not happy with President Cyril Ramaphosa announcing a ban on alcohol sales as the rapper is a shareholder of Cruz vodka.
AKA had previously chipped into the alcohol ban discussion and argued that he puts food on the table with profits from the alcohol industry.
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Boity Thulo does not play nice when it comes to social media trolls. She recently delivered an epic clap-back after a troll shaded her looks.
The tweep said that Boity looks much older than, which is 30 years old. Boity had no choice but to bring out receipts of the of how the tweep looks.
The troll's own profile picture gave fans a total melt-down. It was the definition of don't throw stones if you live in a glass house.
