Somizi thought that wearing a face mask would make him unrecognisable. Unfortunately, it will take more than covering half his face to confuse his fans.
The Idols SA judge took to social media to express his frustration at being recognised over and over again while wearing a face mask. He said he could not understand how people could spot him.
The flamboyant personality shared a story about how a store manager spotted him while he was shopping and he could not understand how. He thought that if he changed the way he walked and hid his nails then he would be unrecognisable - but he was wrong.
He asked his fans what he needs to do to stay incognito. The responses were more of people laughing at him than offering suggestions. Instagram user manasefaith said:
"You are special!"
"Nice life problems."
"Lol I am sure l would also recognise you as well, mask or no mask"
"Thanks for brightening up my day."
"You need the big plastic mask on top of this look, shemmmm."
"Try to walk like a straight guy. I give up on you too."
