Love the skin you're in - that's one of the most important mottoes any woman should have. In a world full of filters and unrealistic expectations, women are often left not liking how they look.

However, one woman decided to start a thread online that proved ladies can rock the skin they're in and be proud of who they are.

On Monday, social media user Anjola, shared photos of herself and captioned the post:

The photos gathered over 155 900 likes in one day and social media users were in awe of Anjola's flawless beauty.

Twitter user, @GzUpHoezDownn, commented:

"You are so beautiful. Looking like the big jar of Nutella."

Another tweep, @tajanaaae, added:

"And y’all really be trying to call dark skin women ugly... the nerve."

Social media user, @Chronnoisseur, wrote:

Her post also inspired other ladies to show off their beautiful chocolate skin and the comment section was flooded with breathtaking images of stunning women from across the world.

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported a dark-skinned woman on Twitter has shared how she used to hate her skin but how now fallen in love with it. The woman, Sophi, posted three photos of herself with the caption:

"Crazy how I use to hate my skin colour, now I’m legit in love with it."

Sophi has been shown love by her followers and they have been complimenting her, calling her all things positive. The post has received 12 500 retweets and 191 400 likes.
