- Cassper Nyovest has shared that his mother is loving the tracks on his new album
- The rapper excitedly took to Twitter to gush about how his mom complimented his new sound
- She said that he is growing up as the songs have much less swearing in them compared to his previous work
Cassper Nyovest is clearly super excited about his upcoming album, but it seems his mother is even more excited. The rapper has been amping up his fans to the September release.
He recently revealed that his mom has finally given his music her stamp of approval. She apparently never liked it before due to the swearing.
The rapper says that Any Minute Now has much less swearing and mommy is happy.
"My mom heard me play this record I made last night. She came to me and said "wa gola yanong neh" meaning you're growing up now. Then she says "Now I can listen to your music myself". I laughed it off but I was HYPE AF!!! THIS ALBUM IS GONNA BE ONE FOR THE BOOKS"
The rapper seemed genuinely pleased that his mother loved his project. Social media users were just as hyped for the album.
Twitter user TshwareloMat1 said:
"The way you're promoting this album neh... it better be good, or else..."
"So your mom hasn't been listening to your music all along Cass??"
"I think it's high time for you to give us the album tracklist Cass. September is too far king. I wish I could sleep the whole of August and wake up in September."
"There is nothing more exciting than a compliment from a parent."
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Prince Kaybee gook to social media to joke about his beef with Cassper Nyovest. This is after a tweep asked him why he's not friends with Cassper because they are both rich and famous.
Kaybee sarcastically said he actually likes Cassper and he would love to drive his Bentley one day. Cass and the Uwrongo hitmaker do not see eye-to-eye and they've even taken their beef to Twitter streets. They usually throw shade at each other on the micro-blogging app.
The tweep, @Oscar_T_Hamase, asked:
"Why are you and Shotpan not faves, because it seems to me that you have a lot in common? You guys are talented, monied, both dropped out of school, business minded and fake humble (in my opinion). I can say you are the Cassper of house music."
The club DJ and music producer then gave a hilarious response. The musician said:
"I actually like Cassper, an inspiring Tswana man. I would like to be his friend and DRIVE his Bentley, But I don’t think if I like him I shouldn’t have an opinion. For instance the nickname I gave him was just me playing around and actually saying what I think."
