The entire world is deeply concerned about the human rights violations that are taking place in Zimbabwe due to ZANU-PF. After images and video of police brutally beating protesting civilians surfaced, #ZimbabweanLivesMatter has trended for the past few days.
A number of our local celebs have lent their voices to the worthy cause. AKA and Zakes Bantwini were among those who said enough is enough.
AKA said we need to give #ZimbabweanLivesMatter as much energy as #BlackLivesMatter.
2. Zakes Bantwini
Zakes Bantwini sent love and light to all those struggling to attain political freedom in Zimbabwe.
3. Maps Maponyane
Maps Maponyane said he stands in solidarity with the people of Zimbabwe.

4. Amanda Black
Amanda Black posted the Zimbabwean flag on her Instagram page.
She wrote, "The only trend that's clear is that black bodies are just that to the rest of the world, 'black bodies,' nothing more. So, it's okay to kill, beat, rape, burn and many (other) atrocities that we endure as 'black bodies.'"
Lasizwe tweeted, "I stand with Zimbabwe."
