Social media can be a very nasty place as people feel powerful hiding behind a screen, but their comments can only hurt you if you let them, so don’t.
Briefly.co.za came across a post where Loyiso responded to a troll in a way that was really inspiring. Everyone needs to crack open their notepads and jot this down.
Loyiso is a popular South African stand-comedian, journalist, and actor whose humour is impeccable. The young personality is renowned for his roles on TV comedy talk shows known as Phat Joe Live, Dinner with the President and Pure Monate Show. He is also the anchor and co-creator of the TV series Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola on eNCA and eTV.
Feeling some type of way about Loyiso and his comedy style, a troll felt the need to let social media know that he is not a fan of Loyiso or his work.

Loyiso saw the comment and responded with the most mature response ever. If only everyone took this approach to trolls, they would have nothing to troll about.
“Comedy is subjective my brother. Comedy has changed my entire life trajectory; may you find something that does the same for your life regardless of what people think of you. I mean that.”
