Ntsiki Mazwai recently blasted Julius Malema for speaking on behalf of women during his EFF National Women's Day address. The poet believes that the party leader should have stepped aside and allowed female party leadership the platform to speak about women.
Mazwai asked why Malema was allowed to speak on women issues, especially because he is known to have made misogynistic comments in the past.
She also questioned why EFF female members Leigh Mathys and Naledi Chiriwa were silent.
Ntsiki took to her YouTube channel to question why Julius Malema and President Cyril Ramaphosa were leading addresses about women on a day designated for women only.
She then tweeted:
"Where was Leigh Mathys and Naledi Chirwa when it was decided a man must address women on Women's Day?"
Social media users were divided over her opinion although many did agree that Julius Malema should have let a woman speak.
Twitter user Mesuli_Mlandu said:
"Until women in the EFF lead as the main voice and take the platform and provide leadership on the issue of GBV, you need to listen and consult with @ntsikimazwai urgently."
"Mr @MbuyiseniNdlozi please level me here, the EFF has a constitution that sidelines women? This is strange, @ntsikimazwai naba abantu bakho, I'm done here."
To which quarts_za responded:
"Not in the EFF mchana, we have constitution here that guide us, hence I stipulated clearly that EFF is not a stockvel."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Ntsiki Mazwai fired shots at DJ Black Coffee after he made a rather jaw-dropping post.
Black Coffee lost it after having been pulled through the mud over his family drama. He feels that if people can shade his family and his disability then he can do the same. He made a terrible comment that has left him in hot water with the masses.
Ntsiki could not help but get involved as, like everyone else, she felt this was totally uncalled-for. Even after all the backlash, the DJ has refused to apologise for his harsh words.
