Talented Skeem Saam actor Buhle Maseko has received some nasty comments regarding the bit of weight he packed on during lockdown. Yoh, people can be really nasty for no good reason, especially when hiding behind social media.
Lockdown left a lot of people feeling somewhat frumpy as gyms were closed and there was little to no reason to put in any effort as we were all locked up in our homes. Lockdown glow-down is a thing that shouldn’t be judged.

Buhle become known when he bagged the character of Nimza Kunutu on Skeem Saam. Fans adore him and Buhle now feels he has a reputation to maintain that does not allow him to gain weight.
Taking to social media, Buhle explained how leading a healthy lifestyle is something he feels is part and parcel of being an actor. Keeping in shape is part and parcel of showbiz, and he totally gets it.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Buhle said:
"Because of the pressures of showbiz and me being in a top show, people used to make rude comments about my weight. I’ve now decided to change my image and live a healthy lifestyle. To reach heights you've never reached, you've got to do things you've never done.”

The Skeem Saam actor may be struggling in the love department on the hit show but he's winning in real life. The young man took to Instagram to celebrate his bae on their four-year anniversary.
