DJ Maphorisa decided to flash his lush lifestyle online despite the fact that most are struggling to even make ends meet. Some celebs can be a tad insensitive – we not all fortunate and it’s not always a good idea to rub it in people’s faces.

This pandemic has left the globe in a financial crisis. People all over the world are losing their jobs, homes, cars and even struggling to put food on the tables.

Briefly.co.za saw how a post made by DJ Maphorisa rubbed a few people the wrong way. We all happy that you are able to live lush still, but have a little compassion for those who are starving.

There are even many celebrities who have come forward to express the financial pressure they are under. Lockdown has banned live performances which has left a lot of SA artists struggling to meet financial responsibilities.

DJ Maphorisa posted a clip of him taking a casual shopping trip in Sandton's Diamond Walk – this type of shopping requires a bank balance not many of us have ever seen in our lifetimes. DJ Maphorisa’s clearly still balling.

After getting called out on his boujee shopping try, DJ Maphorisa felt the need to let peeps know that he is still rolling in the green and feels no need to hide the fact. Just because others are suffering, DJ Maphorisa doesn’t feel he needs to act like he is.

“I am sorted with racks. I have gang of bags for days. I was saying the whole country is suffering, nna I have a plan. I think for other people, get it? I am not selfish. If I want to, I can go to (Diamond Walk) every day.”

Briefly.co.za previously reported that social media users have bullied DJ Maphorisa into fixing his kitchen. The Amapiano music producer was recently dragged for having a small kitchen after he posted a picture of it online.

It seems he took the trolling seriously because he posted a new picture of a better-looking kitchen. When DJ Maphorisa posted an innocent picture of himself in his kitchen, he did not expect Mzansi social media users to tear him apart.

The thing on everyone's mind was the fact that he had such a small kitchen for someone with so much wealth, but it didn't stop there, fans focused in on the smaller details, dirty cupboards and the lack of a dishwasher.
