This is not the first time this week that South Africa's Finance Minister Tito Mboweni's shoes have been brought up. South African's first noticed his questionable taste in shoes when he was seeing dancing alongside his sons in a #JerusalemaChallenge video.

One tweep jokingly asked him to be careful of breaking the floor with his big and heavy-looking shoes. Not long thereafter, Tito was laughing at the president's shoes. In a tweet accompanied by a picture of himself and President Cyril Ramaphosa, he wrote:

"Because he is the president you don't comment about the same kind of shoes as mine. In fact, mine are better class jaaa," he wrote.

Tito, who is evidently tired of being laughed at for his choice in shoes, once again took to Twitter to tell folks to laugh at his "comfortable" shoes one last time.

Delivering what the finance minister asked from them, Twitter users continued to laugh and make jokes below the post. See some of their comments below.

"You don't have to wear them 20 years bra Tito. They sell them in new condition also. I'm sure a man with his signature on money can afford a decent pair."

Meanwhile, in other Briefly.co.za news, Megan Thee Stallion has taken to social media to confirm that rapper Tory Lanez shot her in July. The Savage hitmaker said there were only four people in the car they were travelling in when the incident happened.

Hot Girl Meg expressed on Instagram Live that she was trying to walk away from the car when Tory allegedly started shooting her. She denied that she was cut by glass on her legs.

""Yes this n*gga Tory shot me, you shot me. You got your publicists going to these blogs and lying. I tried to keep the situation off the internet but you're dragging me. Stop lying. Why lie? I don't understand." she said in an IG live video.

The US rapper said at the time, she decided to get out of the car because they were five minutes away from the house she was going to.
