- Mzansi rapper AKA has taken to social media to make a bold declaration once again
- The Fela In Versace hitmaker believes that he is the best hip hop artist in the country
- Unfortunately his ambitious statement was met with a bit of resistance from Mzansi social media users
AKA recently took to social media to call himself the greatest rapper in the country. This is the same country that has Nasty C, A-Reece and Kwesta... so his declaration did not go down very well.
AKA seems to want a bit of attention as the country is currently focused on Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C, who dropped new music today. The rapper took to Twitter to share that he believes he is the best rapper in Mzansi.
Social media users were divided by his comments. His loyal fans agreed with him while others thought he was delusional.
Twitter user Shady_Headlines said:
"Compare yourself to Cassper he's on your level but please don't dare try compare yourself to this fellows: 1. Stoogie T 2. A-Reece 3. Nasty C. Bro please sit down you not even better than Nadia and Boity."
Another user KeLepara added:
"Bro you forgot to add Faith Nketsi."
"Lol suddenly everybody’s fighter is Nasty C... IDK if this is disrespect towards my GOAT or it’s a compliment. Either way, this man ain’t lying. He is exactly what and who he says he is! I am just happy y’all stopped comparing him to you know who."
"Nasty C is the best, that boy will soon represent the whole of Africa."
"Numbers speak in this business. For example, your biggest video doesn't even come close to Nasty C's biggest video in terms of views. Let's not go to streams and/or album sales."
"Dude you don't even have a smooth flow..."
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that AKA has taken to social media to share one of his work sessions as he is putting final touches to his much-anticipated upcoming album.
The rapper shared a couple of pictures of him and his band working hard and also playing some games and braaing in between their recording sessions.
In one of the pictures, Super Mega is with his favourite collaborator Yanga Chief and singer Naak Musiq. Naak is famous for his songs with DJ Tira and the Afrotainment crew.
