DJ Tira has been trending on social media for all the right reasons. He is celebrating his 44th birthday today and he has also dropped his EP titled #21YearsOfDJTira. The star also threw himself a saucy "silent" party on Sunday, 23 August.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown restrictions, Tira, who dripped all sorts of sauce with his designer clothes, could not go all the way out for his special day but he used his imagination to throw himself a party to remember.

Jerusalema hitmakers Master KG and Nomcebo Zikode and Dladla Mshunqisi were some of Mzansi celebs who honoured Tira's invite and blessed him with their presence.

In a video shared by Tira on his IGLive, his guests can be seen getting down to music they were listening to through wireless headsets. The star provided his guests with headsets to keep the music noise down, it seems. Nice move Malume.

Some of the award-winning DJ's fans have taken to his comment section to applaud him for improvising with the headsets.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that not even the Covid-19 pandemic could stop Theo Kgosinkwe from marrying his sweetheart, Vourné. The Mafikizolo singer married his "bestie" on Saturday, 22 August.

The newly-married musician took to social media on Sunday to share that he has only postponed the wedding celebrations to 2021.

"Due to covid-19 Vourne and I had to postpone our wedding celebrations for next year 2021. But we couldn’t wait to be husband and wife. Yesterday (Saturday) I married my bestie. We can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends next year, we just have to wait a little longer."

Theo popped the big question during Vourné’s 26th birthday dinner last year. The star later shared a gorgeous pic of his beautiful wife. He captioned his post:

"He who finds a wife. Finds a good thing and finds favour from the Lord - meet Mrs Kgosinkwe."
