NewBeginnings: Norma drops Gigaba's surname, she is now Miss Mngoma

- Norma Gigaba is officially shedding her marital surname to go back to her maiden name, Mngoma

- The name change comes as the former Mrs Gigaba and her husband Malusi's marriage reaches what seems like the end of the road

Norma recently made her debut as a whole new woman after publicly dropping her husband's surname and going back to being referred to by her maiden name, Mngoma. Norma announced the change in an Instagram post in which she declares she is her own WCW (Women Crush Wednesday).

"Let me reintroduce this beautiful lady who I’m crushing on her today WCW... Her name is Norma Mngoma, I’m so excited to use my maiden surname again, this is who I am and where I belong."

She then goes on to share her new social media handles, all of which sporting her "new" title. She also hashtagged the post #Newbeginnings.

Her post was warmly received by thousands of her followers who loved her newfound confidence and sense of independence. Here are some of their comments.

Norma's decision to go back to her maiden name comes after a number scandals shook her marriage to politician Malusi Gigaba. Cheating, sex tapes and damage of property are just a few of the issues brought to the spotlight.

In other news, on Wednesday this week, eTV aired the exclusive interview done with two women who claim that Prophet Shepard Bushiri had raped them on separate occasions. According to the women, Bushiri had lured them to hotel rooms where the rape occurred.

On the first occasion, the woman says she was asked to come for a prayer session at the hotel. According to her, once she arrived, Bushiri proceeded to kiss and hug her. Thereafter, the unidentified woman says she was put under some sort of spell by Bushiri who then took off her clothes and proceeded to rape her.

The second woman, also lured to a hotel room but this time for a "Bible reading" session, claimed she walked into the room to a naked Bushiri.

“He asked me to take off my clothes and then told me to turn around. I was shaking and scared. I didn’t know what to do. After that, he came on to me and everything happened.”

Bushiri has responded to these claims by accusing the women of being under the influence of law enforcement officials and trying to extort him. .
