Ayanda Borotho has taken to social media to express how she feels about her character on popular show Isibaya. The actress plays the role of Phumelele on the hit telenovela.
According to the soapie's storyline, Phumelele has a special love relationship with Fenyang - a character played by Aubrey Poo.
Ayanda took to Instagram and shared a behind-the-scenes snap of herself and Aubrey. She expressed how proud she is of Phumelele.
"I'm so glad Phumelele didn't use Fenyang to numb her pain or replace what was broken. She entered into this relationship, complete and enough for herself. Fenyang is not in her life because she needs him. He is in her life because she wants him. She chose him. She found him worthy of her once she knew her worth. This decision is all about her. She owns it."
The gorgeous star added that Phumelele is in control of her choices.
"No family obligation, no cultural expectations and certainly no societal BS. Big difference. That's power. She's definitely my #WCW."
