Kanye West has taken to social media to claim that he is the highest-paid male celebrity in the world. The US rapper has also denied that he has been commissioned by the Republican Party to win over potential Joe Biden voters in the upcoming US presidential elections.
President Donald Trump, Kanye and Biden are running for the country's presidency. Kanye recently abandoned his support for Trump to run for the country's highest office on his own.
He told Nick Cannon in a recent interview that he cannot even be bought by Trump to be a distraction in the upcoming elections.
"Bro, can’t nobody pay me, I got more money than Trump," he expressed.
Nick had been interviewing the rapper on his podcast Cannon's Class. Kanye recently took to Twitter to talk about being the highest-paid male celebrity. The star tweeted:
"This a good start."
Kanye's fans shared mixed reactions on his comment section following his post. Check out some of the comments below:
"Pray Donald Trump and the Republicans win in November."
"So what! Why don’t you do something good for others like fight for Flint to get good water or make sure kids that can’t attend schools are being fed. Do something of important instead of making stupid boots."
"Imagine bragging about riches in a world where millions are suffering. Isn’t gluttony a sin, Mr Christianity?"
"Claims to be a Christian. Forgets to read what the Bible says about rich dudes getting into Heaven. Then rubs his wealth in the peasants' faces. What does the neighbourhood you grew up in look like Ye? Fix it up do some good with it. Then come talk to me."
