A wedding is a very special day that many young girls dream about and due to lockdown it was previously difficult to hold a big traditional wedding. However, many South African couples have now been proudly showing off their traditional weddings and people are living for it.
Ayanda Hlophe is the latest person to show off her traditional wedding pictures. She shared a few images of her and her new husband to Facebook group #ImStaying yesterday. The couple, dressed in traditional clothing, matched with a gorgeous emerald green.
The post has since received 13 000 reactions and almost 9 000 comments of well wishes. Not only do Ayanda and her beau look amazing, but they look absolutely happy. They truly are a stunning couple.
Briefly.co.za took a look at some of the top comments under the post of the newlyweds.

"Beautiful loving photos, I love the one putting on, or fastening the anklet pieces. I m sorry, I don't know the correct names, but it looks like a beautiful symbol of serving and caring."
In other wedding news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on a bride that went viral for her natural wedding look. A certain Ghanaian bride clearly wasn't up for any of that as she neither rocked any jewellery nor make-up on her wedding day.
Photos shared by their official wedding photographer, Kiwi Gold, on Instagram show Anna and her man, Harrison, donned in coordinated outfits at their traditional marriage with Anna rocking a bare face.
