Sophie Lichaba (also known as Sophie Ndaba), Sonia Mbele, Katlego Danke and Menzi Ngubane were very popular some years ago for the roles they played on the defunct soapie Generations. Some of their fans were not happy when they were not included in Generations: The Legacy, which currently airs on SABC1.
The four stars' fans will get another chance to see their faves in one TV show. They have reunited for a new series titled Family Secrets. The new programme will make its debut on Sunday, 6 September. The news was shared by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela on social media. Mphela wrote:
"Casting news: Sophie Ndaba, Sonia Mbele, Katlego Danke & Menzi Ngubane in new series. Former Generations stars have reunited for a new series, Family Secrets. The show premieres Sunday, September 6th on SABC1 at 19h30."
Tweeps have shared mixed reactions to Phil's post. Some of them are excited that the stars have reunited while others expressed that they are tired of the same faces on their small screens.
"Lol this will be amazing... They should bring Khaphela too."
"Hai no Kgopolo, sikhathele (we're tired). It's the same people over and over."
"They better make Sonia Mbele and Menzi Ngubane a couple again..."
"Yoh! Hai some things need to change. We loved them during Generations but we can’t keep recycling people when other kids want to be given a chance. I hope the Fergusons are not the producers."

The star, real name Mzayifani Mzondeleli Boltina, shared a trailer of his new cooking show titled Amah Knows Best on social media. The Shake hitmaker will be travelling across china trying new ancient generational recipes that have been shared with elderly Chinese people over the years.
According to the comeback kid's social media posts, the show will debut on SABC3 on 9 September. It will end in December. The 13-episode cooking programme will also feature 13 songs on radio and 13 music videos. The musician's fans have shared their reactions following his announcement. They are happy that he is back in the entertainment industry.
