- A clip of young South African party-goers apparently resisting arrest while drinking and partying around a number of cops has gone viral
- The short clip was posted by Twitter user, OomDaz
- Shocked users of the app quickly started circulating the clip but not before sharing their thoughts on it
Local drunken revellers have once again caught the attention of many after a clip was shared of them enjoying alcohol while dancing and shouting around police officers, who were seemingly trying to contain the large group.
In the video, which was uploaded by Twitter user, Oom Daz, one of the drunk bunch is holding a large bottle of alcohol while climbing into the mark police vehicle and dancing, all while her fellow partiers egg her on.
The video clip received widespread attention from tweeps who were shocked at the behaviour of the youngsters. While many wondered where this groove was taking place, others shared clips of the same girl later being shoved and locked into the police vehicle by a clearly agitated police officer.
Below is the clip of the same young lady who was seen dancing and drinking before being shoved into the police vehicle.
The user who shared the clip, @donandile1, hilarious captioned it:
"It ended in tears! WATCH TILL THE END."
Other tweeps shared the following views.
"It’s all fun and games until they lock only you up, silly little girl. What the hell is this, and she’s proud."
"Kante what did I just watch? What has happened here?"
"Law enforcement gets treated like small boys in this country."
While Nxumalnm said this:
"All fun until you get a criminal record."
Briefly.co.za previously reported about a video of party-goers blatantly refusing to shut down their groove, which must be why many concerned locals called for the alcohol ban to be reinstated. In the video, a local police officer can be seen leaving the party while the drunk partiers continue to chant and dance.
The video, which was uploaded by Twitter user @Chris_Plaatjie, received thousands of reactions from tweeps who expressed their feeling towards the distasteful actions of the drunken partiers who knowingly disrespected police officials.
Many tweeps shared suggestions on how the officers could have better handled the situation while others simply expressed their disappointment in the actions of the young people seen dancing and shouting in the video.
